Taste is the moat
When anyone can make anything, the rare thing is knowing what is worth making.
The cost of producing a polished image, film or piece of copy is collapsing toward zero. That is not a threat to creative companies. It is a clarifying force.
The scarce input has changed
When production is cheap, judgment is the moat. Which idea. Which cut. Which restraint. The ability to look at a thousand AI-generated options and choose the one that moves people - that is taste, and it does not commoditize.
We have always sold judgment. The tools just made it obvious.
